Homemade Fruit Snacks, Part Two: the Result!

Oh my god, I'm a genius!
Not really, the site kinda dummy-proofed it. But look at the result! And the taste good, too!

For anyone who wants to try to make these, here's the site that was pinned: Homemade Jello Fruit Snacks Recipe.

SUCCESS!  This totally makes up for my failed Rice Krispie treat snowman pops idea (that's another story, and the reason I don't trust marshmallows) My boys are gonna pee themselves, this is so cool.

*note: if you do try to make them, I don't recommend using silicone molds. Little trouble getting them out. But if you stick the mold in the freezer, you can peel them out. Worth the trouble!

First Pin-try: Handmade Fruit Snacks

Why? Because I had a box of cherry lemonade jello and two packets of unflavored jello laying around. It. Was. Fate.

I also have lemon slice-shaped, silicone ice trays that begged to be used for something. Now, is just funny (with the cherry lemonade jello and all).

I hope my boys like them...

Here the in-the-mold result:

My sister may be right...

Well, two days ago, my life ended, as we know it: I found out exactly what Pinterest is. And I love it. When I told my sister (she's known what this warlock is for some time now), and she said, "It was nice knowing you."

She may be right; this magic entity had opened my world to a ton of crafty shit that will keep me busy forever. And mostly with stuff I already have access to, or know where to find for dirt-cheap. So, in the new age spirit of sharing everything about everything I find interesting, amazing, and otherwise, I've decided to start this weblog to share with the world all of the results of Pinterest crap I tackle.

IT STARTS NOW!
THIS IS HAPPENING!!!
